I am Richard, a photographer for nearly half my life and began with darkroom photography way back in 1999, then converting to digital in 2007.

All the images on my website have been taken in the last 7 years, but they are my life story in a way, as I am passionate about Leeds, Yorkshire and I have a connection with all these images, from the parks I have been to since I was a kid, the gig venues, the old cinemas through to the cities around the world and the beautiful British coastline.

I have decided to give up my 'safe job' and go part time and give this everything and feel so lucky to get to do this for my living, I love the fact I have met so many people I would have not met if I wasn't doing this, to my stockists, fellow artists and the customers at markets. Every conversation, every sale on my website, means so much as it means I get to live my dream of earning a living from my passion.
